Scope and limitations:
This policy covers all works conducted by Fennells Land Care Services. Any quote or estimate is subject to revision if there are any changes to the nature or extent of the requested work. This may apply to both labour and materials. However, the quote will not be amended without consultation with the client.
Property Access:
If you have a locked gate we would recommend you give us a key or combination. If we cannot gain access to a yard we may still charge your normal service fee.
Animal Faeces:
Animal faeces on the property need removing before works commence. If left, a twenty dollar cleaning fee will be added to the already estimated price for the picking up and removal of animal faeces. In the event the amount of faeces is substantial a fifty dollar cleaning fee will be added to the already estimated price.
Spraying Applications:
In some circumstances, Multiple visits may be required as every job is unique and some weeds can grow resistance to weed killing chemicals. When spraying herbicides to kill weeds there are many factors that can hinder the process. Soil quality and the time of season plays a big role in how successful your spraying application is. If the spraying application on your property does not effectively remove all weeds but in turn has stunted or decreased the growth rate then no refund is applicable by Fennells Land Care Services.
Pricing:
There are a number of variable factors that dictate the prices of our services. Variables include but are not limited to: the size of your yard, steep areas or multiple levels, the number of areas that require edging and obstructions such as trees. There is a minimum charge of fifty dollars regardless of how small the job is due to running costs. Every year we may need to re-evaluate your service fee due to inflation. In the event of an increase you will be advised 30 days prior with an explanation.
Payment Terms:
Bank transfer deposited into our business account is the preferred method. We also accept cash payments on the day of service.
Late Fees & Cancellations:
Any works canceled without 3 days notice (excluding regular customers) before the scheduled date will incur a fifteen dollar cancellation fee. Any invoices not paid in full seven days after the due date will incur a five dollar late fee if not paid on the 7th day. Unpaid invoices will continue to incur a five dollar late fee every 7 days the invoice is unpaid.
Dead Estimate Request:
If we receive an estimate request to arrive at the property and the job is already completed, an invoice may still be sent. The creation of client profiles, logging of property and job details and traveling to the property, requires time and effort.
Equipment Damages & Glass:
We are professionals and take all due care to ensure that incidents do not occur, however it is the property occupants responsibility to reduce the risk of an incident happening. We may not be liable for any damages including glass damages from projectiles expelled from our mowers or line trimmers while servicing your property. We understand accidents do happen and we will make sure each incident is investigated individually; if an accidental breakage does occur we carry full public liability insurance in the instance we are at fault for your peace of mind. Be assured if damage occurs while we are on site, we will notify you immediately and discuss the incident. We always request any items that may become a projectile to be removed from your property, by you, prior to our arrival so damage from projectiles cannot occur. If you fail to notify Fennells Land Care Services of any debris or obstacles and damages occur from unforeseen or unnotified obstacles or debris then equipment damages may be charged on that jobs invoice.
